You asked what we thought of the site. Short answer: it's good. Better built than most of what I look at, and I look at a lot of them.
I ran it through Google's own testing tools rather than just giving you an opinion. Here's what came back.
The whole page is about half a megabyte, which is a fifth of what a typical small-business site weighs. And it doesn't jump around while it loads — that's harder to get right than it sounds, and most sites fail it. Whoever built this knew what they were doing.
Eight small things
None of these are rebuilds. They're the kind of thing that takes an afternoon for whoever has the code, and I've been specific so nobody has to go hunting.
- The page slides sideways on a phone. worth fixing first
I measured it: the countdown clock is 400 pixels wide, and an iPhone screen is 390. So it hangs ten pixels off the edge and drags the whole page with it — you can swipe the site left and right, which feels broken even though nothing is. The fourth number is cut in half on screen. Ten pixels is the whole problem. - The countdown doesn't say what it's counting.
It shows 04 02 34 40 with nothing underneath. Somebody landing there can't tell if the show is four days away or four hours. Four little words — days, hours, minutes, seconds. - There's a typo on the front page.
Under Upcoming Concerts:"Here is what we going coming up later in the year!"I think that wants to be "Here's what we have coming up later in the year." - The bottom of the site still says 2025.
The footer reads "© 2025" and "Coyote 2025", while your Concerts page says "THE COYOTE 2026 LINEUP." Easy one, and people do notice. - Every page is named "The Coyote Store."
Gallery, Concerts, About and Store all share the same title, so Google shows the same line for each one and a phone full of tabs is impossible to tell apart. "Concerts | The Coyote Store" and so on. Your home page is already set up properly — it's just the inside pages. - The little icon buttons have no names.
The cart, the menu, the logo and the social icons. If somebody uses a screen reader, it just says "button" and they're stuck. It's one line of code each. - One missing tag that tells screen readers and Google where the real content starts.
- "We welcome Neal McCoy … look forward to their performance."
Reads like the wording is reused for whoever's playing. Fix it once and every future act reads right.
What I'd leave alone
The site itself. The look, the layout, the lettering, the ticket buttons, the season pass in the store — it all works and it sounds like you. I'm not going to suggest you rebuild anything, because there's nothing here that needs rebuilding. Eight small fixes and it's in better shape than most places ten times your size.
One other thing
Your Gallery page says:
I shot your October show last year — the night McBride & the Ride and Tracy Byrd played. Around ninety finished frames. I never did anything with them and that's been bugging me for about a year.
They're yours. No charge, nothing owed, use them anywhere you want. If you tell me where to send them I'll get them to you this week.
